Chaps … I think I like you best unedited and waffling. However, you are wrong, I'm thinking, that this weekend was one of the Queen's birthdays. 21st April 1926 was the day she was born, and isn't the “Trooping of the Colours” in June her “other” birthday? I'm enjoying picturing the “ghosts in the bottles” with their faces pressed up against the glass. Do they have a “Best if Used By Date”? Of course, we know Doctor Who was terrific, so I was not afraid when you asked Yoda. About Doctor Who this week … Was the reference to the “Swimming Pool Library” something pulled out of the air, or had the writers read Alan Hollinghurst's book? Now, I have a craving for a nice meal of squirrel and brown rice … Great work, Gentlemen!
